Winter Math Journals
I have created some new winter themed journals. They include some Christmas themed items as well. I am planning on using these when I return back to work. I can't believe that is only 3 weeks away. I am looking forward to trying some new resources with my students. I will let you know how it goes. Please let me know how they work in your classroom. Both items have a preview file to look at.

Miss Moo and her sleeping sack (a drawstring bag) 2. Her homework folder- inside is a laminated note with parent directions and a personalized photo book of Miss Moo) 3. A pencil 4. A spiral journal 5. A writing response sheet At home the student needs to complete the following tasks: 1. Read the story to Miss Moo 2. Write in the class journal 3. Jellybean Taste Lab

Students randomly pick 6 jelly beans to sample. They bring the jelly beans to their desk with the worksheet and draw picture of each jellybean. Next they taste one jelly bean at a time. They make a happy face if they like it and the sad faces they don't. Students make a guess as to what it tastes like and then check their answers with the packaging from the jelly bean container. It was a blast!
